Home is where the Art is

Authentic, handmade & one of a kind artisan gifts? Yes, please! I made a move to Grants Pass from the Mid-West last year and was eager to get to know what the community had to offer. To me, a big part of getting the feel of a new city is becoming familiar with neighborhood artisans & craftsmen and women. Crafted local products feel more personal, support our local economy and even inspire a bit of pride. I am very excited that I found so many local artists here in our own backyard.

This is the time of year when I start to prepare for the the holiday season & gifting. It is also the perfect time to find handmade home goods & specialty items for loved ones while strolling downtown or visiting the Saturday market. If I can enjoy a coffee, get outside & check something off on my list all at once, sign me up! Some of our favorite shops to find unique gifts are: Rainbow Baby, Fiona Bean, The Kitchen Company, Bella Luna Boutique, Ritas Shop, Folia Plant house and Loam & Black. We love the makers, artisans and farmers at the farmers market and all the yummy treats along the way.

Luxury candles and room spray by 7&Co.

This time of year as we shop for our holiday list we highly recommend visiting a pop up shop, Christmas Market or check the Josephine County Fairgrounds for upcoming hosted markets, and don’t forget the charcuterie box @kitchenkrafts_bykaitlyn while shopping for the perfect treat.

Or if you would like to take the guess work out of your shopping list, we offer curated welcome baskets with goods from local artisans and makers collected in a farmers market Bolga basket. Splurge even more by adding a bottle of red or white wine to the basket from one of our local vineyards. Order your basket through our website by clicking here.
